1. Company setup and service scope
Company setup, enabled workflows, service duration and any introductory offer are agreed during onboarding. Downloading the Android app does not create a company account or establish a paid subscription.
2. Authorized use
The business may use AfiaLedger only for its own approved locations and users. The owner is responsible for user creation, role and branch assignments, device authorization, and promptly removing access for people who no longer require it. Credentials and staff PINs must not be shared outside their intended users.
3. Accurate records and operational decisions
Users are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information they enter. AfiaLedger supports operational oversight but does not replace professional accounting, tax, legal, food-safety, employment, or inventory-audit advice. The business remains responsible for final operational and financial decisions.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access another company’s data or bypass role restrictions.
- Do not upload unlawful, malicious, or unrelated material.
- Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or probe the service without written authorization.
- Do not use the service to violate privacy, employment, financial, or other applicable laws.
5. Company data
The business retains responsibility for the operational data it supplies. AfiaLedger may process that data only to operate, secure and support the service, address incidents, and meet legal obligations. Personal data handling is further described in the privacy notice.
6. Availability and changes
The service may experience maintenance, defects, delayed synchronization, or third-party hosting interruptions. AfiaLedger may correct, change, limit, or withdraw functionality subject to the applicable service agreement. Material changes affecting an active company account should be communicated where reasonably possible.
7. Fees and commercial arrangements
Subscription fees, implementation charges, introductory offers and support commitments require written commercial terms agreed with the business. Submitting a website enquiry does not create a payment obligation.
8. Suspension and termination
AfiaLedger may suspend access to protect users, company data, infrastructure, or legal compliance, or where these terms are materially breached. Service closure is handled under the applicable company agreement. The parties should agree how required business data will be exported or removed at closure, subject to security and lawful retention requirements.
9. Feedback and product ownership
AfiaLedger retains ownership of the software, branding, documentation, and product improvements. The business may provide feedback, and AfiaLedger may use non-confidential feedback to improve the product without transferring ownership of the business’s operational data.
10. Agreements and review
This website summary is not a substitute for a signed commercial agreement. Commercial terms and privacy arrangements require qualified legal review before material contractual commitments are accepted.
